Finally, for cancellations less than 29 days prior to the tour, the cost will be 100% non-refundable. ** In reality, this is dealt on a case by case basis with a priority for re-booking within the same operating season (Winter), before enforcing a full cancellation**

This excludes extreme weather conditions leading to unsafe trails for the clients, dogs and Beyond Expeditions’ crew members.

For day trips (Full day, half day and other formulas):

The price of the tour and transportation has to be paid in full for the booking to be effective. This amount is 100% non-refundable.

If the tour is cancelled by Beyond Expeditions due to a serious health condition of the operator or the dogs: Beyond Expeditions will provide a full refund. This excludes extreme weather conditions leading to unsafe trails for the clients, dogs and Beyond Expeditions’ crew members.

Travel Insurance

Beyond Expeditions is fully insured operation. However, we strongly encourage our guests to acquire a travel insurance covering medical, evacuation and repatriation fees; as such costs would not be covered by our insurance upon an incident on the tour. We also suggest to extend the insurance coverage to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that may arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience while traveling.

Beyond Expeditions does not include these travel insurance coverages in the tour package. Insurances coverage is to be purchased at an additional cost by the participants. The participant is responsible for providing information on the type of travel and activities included in the tour to the insurer so that the insurer is able to provide an adequate coverage.

Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages are welcomed on our tours, on a responsible consumption base. However, for the safety of the clients and the dogs, no alcohol consumption will be allowed during the dog sledding activity. Also, your guide will advise regarding the weight that can be added to the dogsled before the expedition departure.
